The "GAP" boys

At Christmas, my sister Aimee got these GAP sweatshirts for the boys to wear while we are at the beach this Spring Break. Since Caleb is moving on into the next size of clothes, I decided it was time for them to wear them. I never thought I would dress my boys in matching outfits, but boy do they look cute. David found a free 8x10 photo for me to print at Walgreens yesterday. So we got this one below printed of the boys and it is now proudly displayed in our family room.
They have so much fun together. Caleb is finally rolling over this week and moving around more on the floor. He is trying to get on all fours and it probably won't be long until he is crawling. He loves to stand up and walk with us holding his hands and to stand up holding onto furniture. Parker is so anxious to have Caleb play with him this summer in the backyard with the castle and swimming pool. We love having these two wonderful cute boys in our lives.

Caleb's Baptism

Today was Caleb's baptism and what a beautiful day we had to really enjoy this special day. We enjoyed having my parents come up from their beach trip of 7 weeks to sing "The Lord's Prayer" during our church service. Caleb was very excited to be up front and to be seeing everyone looking at him. He was jumping around in David's arms. I think Pastor Bill Hay was very shocked at how heavy Caleb was when he took him in his arms to baptism him. So glad that Caleb could fit in the same outfit that Parker wore at his baptism. Here is a great picture of us with my parents and David's Dad

Our beautiful family of 4. What a special moment today for David and I to commit to raising our boys in a Christian home and to tell them about the love of Jesus Christ has for each of us.

Happy Valentine's Day

Before the snowman and all the snow melted yesterday, we wanted to get a picture of the boys in front of our snowman. He is still standing today!!! Parker has to go look out our dining room window to make sure he is still there all throughout the day. He loves having the ablity to have his own snowman for the first time. We have even put snow in our deep freezer since we have a book that talks about a little boy and girl saving part of the snow before it is melted. Caleb and Parker in front of Mr. Snowman

Snow Day in Alabama

Today we finally got to see a lot of snow. This was the good stuff since it was great packing snow. One our of neighbors have 2 teenage boys and they came over to play with Parker outside in the snow. It was so special that these boys wanted to hang out with Parker. Parker was out there for 3-1/2 hours straight. I went out for a little bit with them to help dress the snowman while Caleb was sleeping. Seeing Parker loving to play in the snow brought back so many memories of my childhood with the snow in St. Louis. So glad that he got to finally experience his first "BIG" snowfall. Mitchell was pulling Parker around on the sled in our yard and their yard. He thought it was awesome. This was his first time being able to do this.

Rebekah is 33 years old

Today I turned 33! Can't believe the years are flying by. It has been a fun day with David and the boys. Parker has reallly gotten into it this year with birthdays:blowing out the candles and eating cake. David surprised me with a Cake from Costco with their famous butter cream frosting in the middle. Yummy! Ever since we have been married I have made David and I both cakes for our birthdays and the last few years I have opted not to make myself one. So David was so sweet and kind to think about getting me a cake for my special day. It made my day that he bought me a cake. Boy was it good. We have decided to freeze half of it so we can eat it later on. So glad that we have that big freezer in the basement. My first cake from David. Love it!
Parker with Mommy before we light and blow out all 16 candles. I guess I could wish it was my sweet 16 birthday again.
Here we go to try and blow out all 16 candles.
Yum! I love the icing and cake.
See the mess I have made out of this cake!!!

Party pictures

Last night we celebrated David's birthday at home with a great homecooked meal and homemade cupcakes. Parker wanted to have cupcakes for David's birthday. Parker then ate 3 cupcakes (the tops off of them). I guess the cupcakes were for him!!!
Then this morning we went out to breakfast to celebrate our 13 years together and of course our birthdays. David planned this one for us as a family to go out for our birthdays and we enjoyed a morning at the Egg and I. My dad used to take me out for breakfast on my birthday each year. The boys with Daddy getting ready to blow out the candles. So hard to get everyone to look at the camera.
Parker and Daddy blowing out the candles while Caleb is trying to reach for one of the cupcakes.
Caleb loves cupcakes too and was so excited to dive into it.
Mom this is sooo good.
Here goes the whole top into my mouth. Boy was he a mess after this cupcake. We then had to go upstairs to give the boys their bath. It was a great night as a family. So much fun celebrating birthdays.

David is 34 today!

Happy Birthday my dear husband! Today David turns 34 years old. It got me to thinking back to 13 years ago we celebrated his birthday with a surprise visit to his parents for the day. That was the first time that I met his family and it was fun. Time has flown by and I can't believe we have known each other that long. I am so thankful to have him as my husband and the father of our children.
This weekend David's mom came up to celebrate our birthday week (David's today and mine on Thursday). She made a Coco-cola cake and we enjoyed eating it with the boys. It was so yummy. Here is Parker with Daddy ready to blow out his candles.
And here they go.
Caleb was enjoying looking at the excitement of the cake and for us to be singing happy birthday.
Grandma Crossman with Parker and Caleb. We are so glad that she came up for a visit. She even babysat for us on Saturday night for David and I to go out to a nice dinner to celebrate our birthdays. We had a lot of fun on our date night with lots of laugh and good quality time together.

8 months old

Drum roll please!!! Caleb is 8 months old. Wow can you believe it. Everyday we are so happy to have him part of our family. He warms our hearts with his sweet smiles and laughs. Caleb is now saying mama and dada for sure. I love hearing those words come out of his mouth. He still will not roll, but sits up really good and even scoots when he sits on his bottom. It is too cute to watch him try to get around. Everything goes in my mouth and I love getting things out of the dishwasher (see the spoon in my hand)
This spoon is yummy

1 choc. chip + 7 month=mess

Last week Caleb had his first chocolate chip cookie at Publix. Boy did he love it. We had to use several baby wipes to get him somewhat clean. Oh the joys of having boys!! Caleb trying to put the whole cookie in his mouth
Hey Mom look at my chocolate mess. Don't you want to hold me right now!
