On Dec. 26th we woke and there was snow on the ground. David told me that he wasn't kidding but there is snow on the ground and of course I had to get out of bed to look and see. Sure enough there was a light dusting on the ground from the night. So the boys went outside to play in it and I came out to capture some of the memories. Daddy showing Caleb was a snowball is and what to do with it.

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas from David, Rebekah, Parker and Caleb!
We had a great Christmas day at home celebrating the birth of our savior and just our little family. I had surgery on December 22nd so I was still in recovery mode and took it easy so I wouldn't do any damage to my healing.
As for some of you who don't know what was wrong with me to have surgery: Over the last 8 months I had several ovarian cysts that had been causing unbearable pain at times of rupture and just because they wantyed to... So my doctor was finally given the okay from our insurance to go and remove the cyst. My doctor found tons of lessions and fat that was left behind from all the cysts which was causing me a daily baseline pain. So he then removed it all and took out my left ovary/tube so it wouldn't develop more cyst. So thankful to be on the mend and doing so well.
David was and has been a great mommy/daddy to the boys while I was recovering and so thankful that he could take 1-1/2 weeks off from work. He was fun to have him home with us over the Christmas/New years time frame. This was a first and we both loved it.
Parker excited to open a DS game. He guessed what he was by the size of the present. TOO smart.

Parker was so excited to be a HUGE star war lego!!!
Caleb has been into the GeoTrax trains, that we got him a new train and he was so thrilled to have it and wanted it opened right away.
Caleb was so upset trying to open one of his presents. He just wanted it open NOW.
The Crossman boys seating together on Christmas morning while we looked at them with pride and joy. David and I really enjoyed our special Christmas Day at home relaxing and watching the snowflakes fall outside. This was a first for us to see snowflakes in Biringham on Christmas. Nothing stuck, but it was beautiful to watch all day.

More Leaves to Rake
We love our house, but man do we have a lot of leaves to rake to the road each year. I told David that I would help him today, however I had a lot to do in the house, so I was unable to help. Parker had fun helping him. When I would look outside or come out to take pictures, Parker would be riding on the blue tarp which was full of leaves on it. He would allow David to toss him into the leaf pile and then Parker would be buried under all the leaves and come out to surprise us. He did this over and over. So David is very sore from the backpack blower and pulling Parker around on the tarp. This was an awesome view for a shot of Caleb
Caleb loves doing this a lot and he decided to do it in the street.
Caleb trying to jump into the leaves. He wasn't sure about just falling into them this
year. There is always next year.

Parker turns 5
While we were in St. Louis for my Dad's 70th birthday party, Parker turned 5. David and I still can't believe that we have been parents for 5 years. Where has the time gone! This year he is becoming a such big boy. He loves school and learning his letters, numbers and so much more. I think he also loves it that I am a teacher there in the babies class. He loves his little brother Caleb and is teaching him good and bad things.
This year Parker wanted a Star Wars themed party, so David made the invitations with Parker as Drath Vader. Too Cool and his buddies (boys) thought it was awesome. So this year I once again decided to make another cake for Parker. Not sure how long I will keep doing this, but I do love doing it and seeing Parker's response is priceless and worth it.
We celebrate his birthday at our house with his school friends, where they got to decorate cookies, run around the house outside and then have cake and ice cream. Parker had a great time and then enjoyed opening his presents after everyone left. Parker excited about his presents
