Yesterday I took the boys strawberry picking. We wanted to go last week on Friday, but we called before we went and found out that they had been picked over for the week and that we would have to wait until Monday. Parker was so bummed all weekend that we couldn't go. Last year the 3 of us drove out there (45 minutes) and to find that they were closed. This is something that David and I have enjoyed over the years to pick fresh fruit together and now the boys are going to enjoy doing it as well. I took the red wagon with us so Caleb could sit in there and watch Parker and I pick strawberries. They were so good and it was a great time together on a beautiful Monday morning.

Caleb was very interested in what we were putting in the buckets. He even got a couple of them out and put them in his mouth. On the way home Parker was asking left and right for more strawberries to eat. Here I was driving, taking the green stems off and handing them back to him to eat in the backseat.
