Fun afternoon at the Gardens

Last week we went to Aldridge Gardens again for a fun afternoon of walking around and looking at God's wonderful creation. Here are several pictures from that afternoon.

Brotherly Love

Having fun together as brothers.

Parker being silly for me.
While I was taking pictures of them, all of a sudden without me asking Parker to do this. He hugged Caleb. So precious and sweet to see them hugging.
My sweet baby Caleb. He is now 15 months, hardly a baby. But he will always be the baby of the family

Boys on Their bikes

Parker turning Caleb's head to look at me.
Boys on their radio flyer bikes that my parents gave to Parker for Christmas a few years back
Caleb loved being able to ride his bike and keeping up with Parker. So glad that he is able to enjoy a great hand me down from his big brother.

First Day of School

Parker and Caleb have started school this past week. So far they are adjusting well and both love their teachers. I haven't been able to start working in the babies class since we need 2 more babies to come. However, I have been asked to sub 2 days already for the 2's and 3's class. It was fun to be there and to check in on both of the boys while at school. Caleb's teacher would warn me in a fun way to not have him see me. She had to cover up the lower half of the window, so he couldn't see me on the playground with the class I was teaching. The funny thing was that I could see a child trying to get the paper down and it was Caleb pulling on it. He just knew that I was out there. He also enjoyed watching Parker on the playground everyday. It was too cute to watch him on his tippie toes looking out the window at the big kids.
Caleb loves brushing his teach with the Melaleuca toothpaste and has to do it like 5 times a
day. So glad that we have switched to using Melaleuca products in our house. So much better and safer for us and the boys Parker wouldn't get his picture, so Daddy picked him up.

I got the JOB!

I got the Job! We are so excited to have me working part time which will allow us to send Caleb to Parents Day Out in Miss Darlene's class. Parker had Miss Darlene and loved her. Praise the Lord! I was okay with having Caleb home with me this year and then sending him next year when Parker goes to kindergarten. So now he will go to work with me and I will have him home with me one day while Parker is still in school.
Here are some photos of this week of Caleb sitting in Parker's spot on the sofa in the morning. They both love this spot and I can see it be a fight soon if they both wake up at the same time.
I am getting to be a big boy! 14 months old.

Wow it is So Hot!

Wow, I can't believe how hot it is this year. Parker doesn't want to be outside very long and Caleb loves to go out. But we can only handle so much of the heat. We can't wait till the Fall, so we can spend more time outside together. We have been busy with painting the outside of the house for the last month and odd ends around the house. The painting isn't done yet and I now have more detailed painting to do behind what David has done with the sprayer. But it will look great when it is finished.
This past week I went on an interview for being a teacher in the babies class at Parker's school. I really hope and pray that I get this job. We will then be able to send Caleb to school as well, if I am there. Being a teacher for 2 days will then allow me to pay for both boys tuition. I will keep you posted if I get this position.
In a week David and I will be celebrating our 11th anniversary of marriage. We have decided to get away for the weekend and are looking forward to relaxing together minus the kiddos. We have dear friends that will be watching the boys while we get away. This is our first trip alone since we became parents. It will be fun and such a treat to celebrate our lives together.
Enjoy the new pictures of the boys, I have gotten a little behind on taking photos of them. Thanks to my dear hubby for taking these pictures.

This is my car and I can open the door and get in.
Look at me! I am so cool!

Trip to St. Louis

Last week I took Parker and Caleb with me to St. Louis. For about the last 8 years I have gone up to STL for a long weekend for a Girls time. Once we all started having children then it became a cousins time along with sisters/mom time. Traveling in a car with only me and the little boys is a huge undertaking esp. when Caleb was so sick of being in the car seat. But we made it. It was worth it to see the boys play with their cousins and make memories. One of the days we went to my sisters lake house to play as the whole Wiggers clan. What a blast that was and we look forward to doing it next year. Parker loved playing in the water, jumping off the dock and riding on the boats. He didn't like tubing with me, he thought it was too scary, at least he did it once. Parker enjoying a sucker on the boat. Caleb eating Watermelon.
Both of these pictures are great and I can't wait to have them made into canvas art to put on our walls in our home.
