Spring Break 2010

Last week was Spring Break for us. Since my parents have been at the beach for 6 weeks, we were invited to go down for the week. This was part of our Christmas present from my parents.
My sister Rachael and her two children also came down there for the week so the cousins could play together. We had great weather all week except for one rainy day, so we went shopping and were able to get some clothes for the boys. Love those deals at the Foley outlet mall. Now it is back to a normal routine this week. So glad that we were able to go on a vacation for the week. Having fun in the big bathtub. Caleb thought it was so cool to be in there with all of them.

The 3 of them are on top of a big sand pile
Parker had fun looking in the water for shells, crabs and sand fleas.

Mommy with her sweet little boys. We wanted one with just the boys, but whenever I put Caleb on the sand he just wanted to play in the sand and not look at us.

Caleb didnt' like the sand on his feet the first day or in his mouth. But by the end of the week Caleb loved playing in the sand and even walking on it with our help of course.
Hey daddy! Look at me in my sunglasses. I really want to take them off my face.

Spring is Here

I just love our yard. David and I have planted lots of Perennials and bulbs all around so we can enjoy the different seasons with flowers. Right now the daffodils are in full bloom along with the camellias, so I have been enjoying cuttings of both to have in my kitchen sink window. Soon other plants will make their way out of the ground for us to enjoy. So happy have the warmer days and the boys love it as well.
Caleb loved being in his walker on the driveway while Daddy grilled hamburgers for us. It was fun to be outside as a family playing around while we got dinner ready.
More fun days at the park feeding the ducks.
Parker loved to take a break on this bench at the park and this time he wanted to pose.
Parker loves riding his scooter that he got for Christmas and Caleb loves riding on Daddy's shoulders. I just love my 3 boys so much!!!

Caleb is 9 months old

Caleb Reid Crossman is 9 months old. We went to the doctor to have his 9 month check up. Caleb now weighs 22 lbs. 5 oz. and is 29-1/2 inches tall. Wow he is really growing up fast. While we were in the doctor's office Caleb threw up everywhere (this was the 2nd time that day). So when the doc came in, I mentioned it and he checked his ears and Caleb has a double ear infection. Caleb doesn't show the signs of an ear infection like Parker did so we had no idea he was getting sick. He is always a very happy smiley laid back little boy. By the end of the day Caleb had thrown up 4 times that day and wasn't wanting to eat anything & was finally showing us signs of him not feeling good. Poor sweet Caleb.
He has finally decided this past week that it is okay to roll over on his tummy and then push himself backwards. He will then get fussy and want you to sit him up again, but to only go right back to his tummy. He has also learned to get on all fours, but doesn't know what to do next and ends up on his belly. The other thing that he likes to do is stand up and hold onto us or the sofa. So we are getting close to him either crawling or maybe walking soon. His world will then be a bigger place for him to explore. This picture was taken by Parker as we waited in the exam room

What you doing up there Mom, I want to face forward so bad so that I can see what is going on

A driver in our future

Cale gets so excited when he gets to sit in the driver seat. I so remember when Parker used to do this and still does. Our lives will change when these boys will be driving one day. So glad that this is several years away!!!

Monthly Lego Build

Every first Tuesday of the month, the Lego store at our Galleria does a "free" lego build. David and Parker always go there and wait in line for the doors to open at 5:00 for the 2 hour build. Caleb and I go as well and either go shopping while they wait in line or just sit with them and talk to some of our friends that are there as well every month. David and Parker hard at work building the "4 leaf clover" lego
Our busy little lego boy
Parker is really good at building and following the directions for the lego builds. So much fun to see Parker and David do this together every month. One day Caleb will want to build one as well.

The "GAP" boys

At Christmas, my sister Aimee got these GAP sweatshirts for the boys to wear while we are at the beach this Spring Break. Since Caleb is moving on into the next size of clothes, I decided it was time for them to wear them. I never thought I would dress my boys in matching outfits, but boy do they look cute. David found a free 8x10 photo for me to print at Walgreens yesterday. So we got this one below printed of the boys and it is now proudly displayed in our family room.
They have so much fun together. Caleb is finally rolling over this week and moving around more on the floor. He is trying to get on all fours and it probably won't be long until he is crawling. He loves to stand up and walk with us holding his hands and to stand up holding onto furniture. Parker is so anxious to have Caleb play with him this summer in the backyard with the castle and swimming pool. We love having these two wonderful cute boys in our lives.

Caleb's Baptism

Today was Caleb's baptism and what a beautiful day we had to really enjoy this special day. We enjoyed having my parents come up from their beach trip of 7 weeks to sing "The Lord's Prayer" during our church service. Caleb was very excited to be up front and to be seeing everyone looking at him. He was jumping around in David's arms. I think Pastor Bill Hay was very shocked at how heavy Caleb was when he took him in his arms to baptism him. So glad that Caleb could fit in the same outfit that Parker wore at his baptism. Here is a great picture of us with my parents and David's Dad

Our beautiful family of 4. What a special moment today for David and I to commit to raising our boys in a Christian home and to tell them about the love of Jesus Christ has for each of us.
Sweet Caleb with Grandma Wiggers. He was so good in the service.
