My Tree House

Over the past few weeks, Parker has enjoyed building a tree house or pirate ship on our bed with all of the pillows. Yesterday he moved the tree house to the floor and I was able to capture a few pictures of him in his tree house. He also thought it was a lot of fun to jump off the bed into the pile of the pillows on the floor.

Strike a pose. He looks really cute sitting here with his hands.

Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed

This weekend, David and I enjoyed listening to Parker sing two songs, "Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed" and the "Itsy Bitsy Spider". He must have been singing them in school this week. On Saturday night, David and I were watching a movie together, on the monitor Parker started to break out in song about the Spider. He was really getting into it and singing his lungs out. We couldn't stop laughing about how cute it was that he was singing instead of falling asleep.

The Gator is broken

Well, we had the batteria checked and is was dead. So we bought a new batteria and charger. David got the Gator working for about 10 minutes and Parker was so excited that he hugged Daddy. David has now looked at the wiring and testing it out and has figured that we will need some new parts and wiring to make the Gator run. So for now until I can sell more candles and bread or a miracle happens, Parker will just have to enjoy sitting in the Gator. We will keep you posted on the status of the Gator.

I love my bike

Parker loves riding his bike around our driveway on the street with us next to him. This past weekend, he even tried a bigger bike with training wheels at our friends house. So we might need to upgrade him to a big boy bike for Christmas.

John Deere Gator

Parker loves John Deere toys and the movies. He has been telling us that he wants a John Deere hat for Christmas. We have put that on his list along with a John Deere t-shirt.
Well today as Daddy was walking to the bus stop he passed by this gator that someone was throwing away. So Parker and I decided to go check it out. Of course the battery is dead and we are not sure if it will work after it is charged. But Parker didn't care, he wanted "his gator" to come home. So off we went with Parker driving and mommy pushing it down the street. I am sure we were a sight to see, but Parker was so excited about his new toy.
Look at me in my "gator"
Now I have two (a Jeep and a Gator) Mommy!
He didn't want to get out of the Gator!

Parker loves School

This week Parker was dropped off in the carpool line in the morning for school. I let him get in the front seat with me once we were in the parking lot/carpool line while we wait for our turn.

I have noticed that other parents do this as well. It was a great way to get him excited about getting out of the car and going into school without Mommy. On Tuesday (the first day to try carpool), Parker cried to get out of the car and go to the teacher. But Wednesday and Thursday he was a champ. He told me bye mommy and walked in holding the teachers hand. Way to go Parker! I am so proud of him and so happy to be witnessing this milestone with Parker.

Parker's Second Day of School

Tuesday was Parker's first day of preschool for the 2008-2009 school year. I couldn't get a picture of him yesterday, since he threw a royal fit to get dressed and get in the car. He didn't want to leave Mommy and go to school. On our way to school, Mommy talked to Daddy on the cell phone about Parker not wanting to go to school. Daddy told Parker that if was good at being dropped off at school that Daddy would take him to the Toy Store and get ice cream after Dinner. Parker remembered all day what Daddy promised and boy was he excited to go.
He told Mommy goodbye and gave me a kiss and told me have a good time with my friend. (I -went out for coffee last night with a co-worker) When I got home Parker proudly showed me his 3 new cars from the Movie Cars and told me all about going to the store and getting ice cream.
Parker did much better this morning, cried a little bit when I dropped him off. So here are a few pictures of Parker and his new cars this morning before school.
