Party pictures

Last night we celebrated David's birthday at home with a great homecooked meal and homemade cupcakes. Parker wanted to have cupcakes for David's birthday. Parker then ate 3 cupcakes (the tops off of them). I guess the cupcakes were for him!!!
Then this morning we went out to breakfast to celebrate our 13 years together and of course our birthdays. David planned this one for us as a family to go out for our birthdays and we enjoyed a morning at the Egg and I. My dad used to take me out for breakfast on my birthday each year. The boys with Daddy getting ready to blow out the candles. So hard to get everyone to look at the camera.
Parker and Daddy blowing out the candles while Caleb is trying to reach for one of the cupcakes.
Caleb loves cupcakes too and was so excited to dive into it.
Mom this is sooo good.
Here goes the whole top into my mouth. Boy was he a mess after this cupcake. We then had to go upstairs to give the boys their bath. It was a great night as a family. So much fun celebrating birthdays.

David is 34 today!

Happy Birthday my dear husband! Today David turns 34 years old. It got me to thinking back to 13 years ago we celebrated his birthday with a surprise visit to his parents for the day. That was the first time that I met his family and it was fun. Time has flown by and I can't believe we have known each other that long. I am so thankful to have him as my husband and the father of our children.
This weekend David's mom came up to celebrate our birthday week (David's today and mine on Thursday). She made a Coco-cola cake and we enjoyed eating it with the boys. It was so yummy. Here is Parker with Daddy ready to blow out his candles.
And here they go.
Caleb was enjoying looking at the excitement of the cake and for us to be singing happy birthday.
Grandma Crossman with Parker and Caleb. We are so glad that she came up for a visit. She even babysat for us on Saturday night for David and I to go out to a nice dinner to celebrate our birthdays. We had a lot of fun on our date night with lots of laugh and good quality time together.

8 months old

Drum roll please!!! Caleb is 8 months old. Wow can you believe it. Everyday we are so happy to have him part of our family. He warms our hearts with his sweet smiles and laughs. Caleb is now saying mama and dada for sure. I love hearing those words come out of his mouth. He still will not roll, but sits up really good and even scoots when he sits on his bottom. It is too cute to watch him try to get around. Everything goes in my mouth and I love getting things out of the dishwasher (see the spoon in my hand)
This spoon is yummy

1 choc. chip + 7 month=mess

Last week Caleb had his first chocolate chip cookie at Publix. Boy did he love it. We had to use several baby wipes to get him somewhat clean. Oh the joys of having boys!! Caleb trying to put the whole cookie in his mouth
Hey Mom look at my chocolate mess. Don't you want to hold me right now!

Caleb loves to move around

The other night when I went upstairs to check on the boys before turning in for the night I found Caleb in the corner of his crib asleep. I then called David upstairs to look at him and to bring the camera. Too cute to see him snuggled up against his monkey.
The Crossman Boys "they are so cute" =God has blessed with two wonderful children
Caleb loved being pushed around in the dump truck today for the first time. We used to do this to Parker when he was very little.
Falling back while being pushed by big brother.
Look at me Mom, this is so much fun!!!

Circus Day at School

It has been over a week since this happened and I am now just getting to post these pictures. Parker has been learning the letter "C" and they did a circus for one hour last week. As the c0- room mother I was able to help out with his class that day. I was in charge of the face painting station. Almost every child wanted something painted except Parker and another girl. So instead of painting Parker's face, I told him he could paint my face. Boy did he jump on that one. He loved it and called it a star wars ship. Parker was making a clown at one of the stations.
Balancing a bean bag on your head while walking in a straight line.
Parker's masterpiece on my face. The teachers both said that I was brave. I call it having fun with my son.
Sweet picture of the both of us on Circus Day.
Of course Caleb was with us for that hour and enjoyed watching everyone from his stroller. It was nap time for him, but no way was he going to miss out on the action. He was really good for that hour.

The boys at school

The last two days I have subbed for some teachers at Parker's school. I am so lucky to be able to do this and also that Caleb can go into the babies class for free while I get paid for subbing. Today Caleb attended a birthday party for one of the girls in his class. He was the only one who didnt' seem to mind having a hat on his head. He also loved his snack that they all were eating. While I was passing by his teachers told me to come and look at him, I was so lucky to have had my camera in hand. So glad that I am able to sub at his school and to see the boys in action.
Caleb also got his second tooth today. So he now has his two bottom middle teeth. I love this snack Mom.
