Fireworks
Last week Parker and Daddy set off Fireworks a few nights in a row. Parker was really into it this year and really enjoyed the sparklers as well. So one night while Caleb was done for the night, I was able to go outside and take a few photos.

Acid Reflux
Our precious Caleb has silent acid reflux really bad. We thought Parker's was bad with the constant spitting up. Caleb just screams, arches his back, hiccups a lot, trys to burp and you can hear the gurgle in his throat from coming up. We finally got him on medicine on Thursday, but it still hasn't kick in yet. I sure hope that we have some peace here soon. Our nerves are on edge with the crying and Parker is being a real trooper to us having to tend to Caleb.
So please pray that relief is near for Caleb and us :)
Here is one of the those moments that I love to watch. Caleb sleeping peacefully.

Caleb is growing
Caleb is growing up already. Today we had Caleb's 2-1/2 week check up. He weighed in at 9 lbs. 11 oz. and is 22-1/4 inches long. So he has gaines 1-1/2 pounds since leaving the hospital and grown one inch. He is now going through a fussy stage with major gas problems in the bowels and burps. I am really hoping that he will grow out of this stage soon, since all he wants to do is be held by my.
Bath time in the big tub with Parker. We have been able to start giving Caleb a bath now. Parker thinks it is cool to have his brother in his tub.

We are home from the Hospital
We came home today around 1:30. It was very strange to leave the hospital with 4 of us in the car. We are now officially a family of 4. Parker is very proud of his little brother and keeping touching him in the car. He would tell us to not look at them. I guess he wanted his own private moment with his brother in the backseat.
Parker posed with Caleb while we cooked dinner tonight.
Caleb is very precious and I think he does look a like Parker did. The only thing is that his face isn't as round or the cheeks like Parker. They both had the same hair color when we looked back at Parker's pictures tonight.

The time has come
Well on Friday, June 5th we are going to the hospital at 6:00 am to be induced.
Caleb doesn't seem to want to come out yet on his own, even though I am 3.5 cm dilated. He is too comfortable inside and causing a lot of pain on Mommy. Of course we have had a few false labors and one that we actually went in for this week to the doctor's office. They told no that I wasn't in labor. Not sure why both of my boys got too comfortable in the womb. Parker was in there a day past his due date.
So today I have been trying to do some last minute errands and laundry to prepare for not being here for the next 3 days. It is hard to believe that the time has come for us to meet Caleb Reid. We are all excited to see who he looks like and to add another member to our family. I am not looking forward to the pain of labor or the sleepless nights for the next several months. But at least I do know that it does get better with time.
Stay tuned for pictures of Caleb and the family. I will try to post some of them as soon as we can. The hospital has internet access in the rooms, so at least I will be able to take my laptop with me to content with family and friends.
